The Côte de Nuits spreads out from FIXIN to NUITS-ST-GEORGES, over about 20 km (12 miles) and 1500 hectares (3700 acres). The vineyards exposition is EAST / SOUTH-EAST.

 

 

The Côte de Beaune begins in LADOIX-SERRIGNY and ends in MERCUREY. It represents about 3.000 hectares (7400 acres) and produces the great white wines of MEURSAULT and CHASSAGNE-MONTRACHET.

 

 

More to the SOUTH, the BEAUJOLAIS offers a surface of 21500 hectares (53000 acres), over 55 km (34 miles) from MACON to VILLEFRANCHE S/SAONE.
